(Mistake on the time. For 5:27pm, I did not correctly put in the military time of 17:27. Oops)

Chief Al Church

Commissioners

I would like to renew my request to be properly notified of the Commissioner Meetings and expand my request to the Chief and Commissioners for which I have email. Please forward to anyone that I have missed.

Apparently the methods of notification you reference in your reply are insufficient to comply with the Open Public Meetings Act.

Indeed, as of the writing of this email at 07:27 on Friday November 5, 2010 (over 24 hours after the meeting adjourned), proper and legal notice of the agenda which transpired at the time and date specified on the agenda listed on the official website for SKF&R has not been given. Concluding that the public has even this evening not been given legal and proper notice of the agenda.

Further, since the meeting November 4th contained transactions in violation of the Revised Code of Washington and therefore was against the law, I feel it prudent to request that the Chair strike from the record any business concerning Resolution 468. That item does not appear on the agenda as required by the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 42.30 of the RCW 42.30.080

My interpretation of the language in RCW 42.30.010 and RCW 42.30.080 extends to including that any member of the public should have the right to request, and be given, notification by electronic mail, at least twenty-four hours before the time of such meeting, for all public and open meetings, the time, place and business to be transacted. I further interpret the twenty-four hours mentioned in RCW 42.30.080 to be business hours, excluding weekends and government recognized holidays.

Please add me to your list of recipients receiving email notifications for dates, times, agenda and locations of all commissioners meetings, including regular, special and budget meetings, open to the public.
